Power RacksWhat makes a good rack? A good power rack is deep
enough to allow for full body movements, high enough to allow for presses,
and wide enough to allow a wide hand spacing, yet sturdy enough to deal
with a dropped bar crashing down on the pins. Preferably it has holes at
2-inch intervals going from top to bottom. It also has four pins and at
least 4 J-hooks to hang the bar on. Someone who sumo-squats with a wide
stance might have to build up the area inside the rack to in able to
spread the feet correctly. That is easily done so the essentials remain
those listed above.
